Walled In
Walled In is a prototype of a game that is built in Unreal Engine 4 using what little knowledge I had about Unreal Engine 4 from the single class that taught it at Full Sail University.
The theme of our month was Side Effects.
The prototype’s design document and feature implementation was done during the Game Design 2 class. Which, like all the other classes, was a single month. Using the base knowledge from an earlier class, I implemented the platform spawning, different variations of the platforms for each wall, and a death barrier. Each wall section has it’s own side effect. Blue was ice, Green was sticky, and Red vanished fairly quickly.
